International programs

International opportunities for professional learning

The AEF provides educators with opportunities to participate in a range of in-country professional learning programs including short-term study tours, exchanges, international conferences and intensive in-country training.

Since 1993 over 2,500 educators have taken part in these programs in Australia, China, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Nepal, The Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

International programs include:

Access Asia Study Tours and Exchanges include 2 to 3 week study tour programs in Asia and teacher exchange programs for Indian, Korean and Indonesian educators.

The fourth in the series of Linking Latitudes conferences was held in India in 2007. Key links and information about the conference can be found on the Asialink website.

Endeavour Language Teacher Fellowships, funded by the Australian Government Department of Education, Science and Training, provides Australian language teachers with intensive language and culture programs.
