My Leader, My King - Monarchy and Leadership in Thailand

Students investigate the role and place of the monarchy in contemporary Thailand by exploring the concept of monarchy and defining the generic qualities of good leadership. The approach of the unit can be adapted to studies of other monarchs or leaders.

  • identify the qualities of good leadership
  • describe the role and place of the monarchy in Thailand
  • critically evaluate images of the monarchy in Thailand
  • assess the qualities of leadership of different leaders or members of different monarchies.
