AEF supports the implementation of:

Australian Curriculum
National Professional Standards for teachers and school leaders
National, state and territory programs and policies including the National Statement on Asia Literacy in Australian Schools 2011-2012, which identifies the need for continued investment and innovation in Asian languages education and cross-curriculum studies of Asia.

Alliances

AEF has established alliances with education and business partners to strengthen support for every student to develop Asia capabilities by the time they leave school.

The Education Alliance for Asia Literacy is an alliance of school education stakeholders including parents and professional associations. The Business Alliance for Asia Literacy brings together peak business bodies and 50 top companies to advocate the need for school education to equip students for an Asia-capable workforce.

The National Asia Literacy Network (NALN) includes leading officials from government, Catholic and independent school systems. The network shares knowledge and understanding of Asia capability strategies occurring nationally.
