What is an Asia-focused Mathematics curriculum?
The Australian Curriculum for Mathematics provides opportunities for students to learn explicit content about Asia.
[It] provides opportunities for students to learn about the understandings and applications of Mathematics by drawing on knowledge of and examples from the Asia region. For example, number, patterns, measurement, symmetry and statistics could include calculation, money, art, architecture, design and travel. Investigations involving data collection, representation and analysis can be used to examine issues pertinent to the Asia region.
