Dr Ngarpadla Alitya Rigney

Dr Alitya Rigney is a strong Aboriginal woman from the Narungga nation of Yorke Peninsula and the Kaurna nation of the Adelaide Plains. She is a retired School Principal and a passionate advocate for the advancement of Aboriginal people. She has a Public Service Medal, and in 1998 received her Doctorate from the University of South Australia.
