Professor Anne Pawels

Professor Anne Pauwels is Professor of Linguistics and Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Western Australia. She is Chair of the Group of Eight (Go8) Deans of Arts. She is also on the executive of the Australasian Council of the Deans of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities. Her work on languages education is focused mainly on the tertiary sector and includes a large scale project on Innovative Ways in Collaborating across universities in the area of languages other than English (CASR grant).
