Lois Joll

Lois Joll is Director of Senior Schooling Academic Standards and Support at the Department of Education and Training (DET) in WA. The directorate is charged with assisting DET schools to improve graduation and Tertiary Entrance results and implement the new senior secondary courses as well as management of Gifted and Talented and Languages education across the phases of schooling. Lois has spent over thirty years working in education. She has taught history, English, literature and theatre arts, taken on the responsibilities of Head of Department and Production, Dean of Curriculum and worked as Education Officer for the Arts at the Curriculum Council in Western Australia prior to joining DET.
