Sin May Leong
Sin May was appointed Manager Human Resources Planning & Development in Jetstar Airways in October 2004 with key accountabilities for performance management, talent development, and remuneration in addition to recruitment and employee relations responsibilities. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Honours) from the National University of Singapore majoring in linguistics and literature, Post-Graduate Diploma In Education from the National Institute of Education Singapore and a Post-Graduate Bachelor of Educational Studies degree from the University of Melbourne.
Sin Mays experience in Human Capital spans three airlines, two retail companies, a bank and two public sector organisations, including the Singapore Tourism Board and the Singapore Ministry of Education. Prior to returning to Melbourne to join Jetstar in late 2004, Sin May was Head of Group Learning and Development in OCBC Bank based in Singapore. From the Singapore hub, she had the benefit of working on training projects across the Asian region including Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong and in her birth country Malaysia.
