2011 L21CS Program and state and territory coordinating groups
The initial professional learning program conducted across Australia in February and March with the support of state and territory coordinating groups, provided participants with a comprehensive suite of resources to lead Asia literate change in their schools.
2008 and 2009 Forums

The initiative was launched at a high profile National Forum in May 2008. It brought together school and system leaders from around Australia, motivating them to lead the changes necessary to build a critical mass of Asia-literate students and achieve the goals of the National Statement for Engaging Young Australians with Asia in Australian Schools.
In May 2009, the Asia Literacy for Every Young Australian national summit heard leading politicians stress the importance for every school leaver to have a solid understanding of Asia.
This was followed by an August 2009 Forum which celebrated outcomes of the previous years with 180 educational leaders. This collection of videos from the event provides a flavour of the ideas discussed.
