The Leading 21st Century Schools: Engage with Asia Professional Learning Program (L21CS Program) supports principals to undertake Asia literate curriculum change in their schools. The L21CS Program provides strategies and tools to:

Strategies and tools provided through the program assist school leaders to: review information about national policy and Australian Curriculum; conduct awareness-raising activities with their school communities about the importance of students developing Asia skills and knowledge; analyse school readiness and capacity to begin an Asia literate change process through audits and analysis of school resources and curriculum; and provide information about :

Funding is provided by the Australian Government under the National Asian Languages and Studies in Schools Program (NALSSP) grants program whose target countries are Indonesia, China, Japan and Korea.
The project is supported by peak principals associations that include: Australian Primary Principals Association; Australian Secondary Principals Association; Association of Heads of Independent Schools of Australia; Catholic Secondary Principals Australia and Principals Australia.
