1. Find out more about important aspects of Korean popular culture by looking at the image Multimedia Art which explores hi-tech Korea, and the five pieces of rollover text.
2. In most communities, people are interacting with popular culture in their everyday lives. Today, popular culture for young people is often expressed through film, television, music, manga, books and the news media. Why do people become connected with popular culture? What aspects of popular culture interest you? How do you think they may be different from what Koreans are interested in? Discuss in pairs and then share your ideas with the class.
