1. Korean pottery is of very high quality and has different forms and histories. Go to Korea Folk Art to find out more about the beautiful Korean pottery that was used in the past and is used today for both serving food and decorative purposes. Prepare posters to be displayed in your classrooms on one of these Korean pottery forms: celadon, punch’ong ware, whiteware, ong-gi, da-wan or simple tea bowls.
2. The National Museum of Korea has a fine collection of pottery. Go to the Collections section of their website and search using the keyword ‘pottery’. What are some of the common attributes of this pottery?
