- Look at the images and the five pieces of rollover text about ‘What’s for Dinner’, and describe the ways in which typical Korean food is similar or different from what you mainly eat.
- There are special manners that should be followed when you eat Korean-style. Go to Korean Table Manners on the Life in Korea website. List which of these manners are typical in your home and which are different.
- Go to The Asia Recipe website and click on Korean Tea History and Customs to learn about the elaborate Korean tea ceremony. Try to perform this ritual in your classroom.
- The Really Big Food Project explores the use of rice in the Asian region including in Korea. How can you explain why people from different parts of the world eat different foods?
