Images of Asia

The Images of Asia series comprises four sets of eight picture cards organised around the themes of:

  • Environment
  • Beliefs
  • Innovations
  • Symbols, patterns and designs.

Each card in the set illustrates elements of the themes for each of eight countries of Asia: China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. Photographs have been selected to represent the range and diversity of experience in the eight countries, to enable teachers and students to explore them from various perspectives. The reverse side of each card contains a map illustrated with items that extend the theme.
