The aims of this website are to generate student interest and to encourage students to:

• engage in prolonged visual observation and focus on the detail in the images

• compare and contrast images, stories and comments from China, Korea, India and Australia

• discuss and share their responses

• understand and learn about the lives of other young people from China, Korea, India and Australia

• recognise similarities and differences between their own experiences and interests and those of the young people who created the artworks and stories

• identify a range of art materials and techniques

• learn about and explore the use of new art materials and techniques
