Asia EdNet Tutorial - Module 5

Introduction

If you have not done so already, it is important for you
to read the How to use the tutorial section.

In this module, you will learn:

  • about what collaborative internet projects are;
  • how collaborative projects can improve student learning;
  • how collaborative projects might be structured;
  • what collaborative projects exist and how to find and join them;
  • how to initiate your own collaborative project.

There are many ways teachers and schools can collaborate through the use of the Internet. This module provides a short introduction to the topic and links to further information which you can explore as necessary.

Collaborative projects between schools in Australia and schools in Asia are not yet very common, but interest in collaboration is growing. Some of the examples you will find in this module do not relate specifically to Australia-Asia collaboration but most have the capacity to do so.
