Working together - Collaborative projects using the Internet |

Why collaborative projects?
Starting up or participating in collaborative Internet projects might seem to be too difficult and time-consuming. Yet, they are becoming increasingly popular. Why do teachers and students bother?
Task 3 - Benefits of collaborative projects
Consider the following questions and make notes of your responses:
- What general benefits might there be from students using the Internet in the classroom?
- Why do we want students to learn to work together, particularly across cultures?
- What benefits are there from Australian students using the Internet (as opposed to other forms of communications) to work with students in Asia?
A print version of these questions is available.
