bio

The majority of Rebecca's career has been spent in improving education and/or social services through communications and stakeholder engagement. Since 2006, Rebecca has been engaged in China where she has strong connections from her time working on a technical & vocational education project. She worked for a brief period in the Chinese private sector, contributed to writing a teaching resource on Chinese civic behaviour for new teachers and also studied Mandarin. Rebecca is currently a member of AusAID’s education team which is developing strategies to ensure that young people learn skills for productive lives, including through ecological literacy. She has a Master degree in communications and is currently studying a research masters in environmental management and development.
