bio

Chris joined ANZ following secondary school. He then joined the army, intending to embark on a military career. In the end, however, his banking career took precedence, and except for three years in the Army Reserve, he has worked in banking all his working life. Chris gained banking experience throughout Victoria and also in London. More recently, Chris completed an MBA, majoring in Asian studies with two units completed in Malaysia. Chris spent six years in Perth, and then three years in Vanuatu as the Head of Risk. He moved to Melbourne to take a role in audit, which involved a lot of travel to ANZ's Asian businesses.
