PNGAus Partnership Secondary Schools is a fully funded initiative of the Australian Government through the Australian High Commission in Papua New Guinea.

Core costs include:

  • pre-departure and post-return phases
  • in-country travel arrangements including accommodation, meals, ground transport and venue hire
  • all workshop and professional learning costs.

All travel costs for Australian participants in this initiative, within Australia and internationally, will be covered including flights, accommodation, transport, most meals, visa, vaccinations, insurance.

Where possible, activities will be scheduled to occur during school holiday periods and over weekends to minimise any teacher release costs.

Any incidental costs (e.g. passports and incidental spending) are the responsibility of the participating school.
