The Asia Education Foundation (AEF) is a joint activity of Asialink at the University of Melbourne and Education Services Australia Ltd. The AEF supports schools to implement the Asia and Australia's engagement with Asia cross-curriculum priority of the Australian Curriculum.

Subsidies for Malaysia Study Tour
Teachers and school leaders can apply for a $1,300 subsidy in the AEF’s Malaysia Unplugged Study Tour to expand their knowledge of contemporary Malaysia and approaches to environmental sustainability. Program departs April 2012. Apply now.

Australian Curriculum: Geography

Professional learning for parents
Parents can now apply for the Parents Understanding Asia Literacy project, an innovative 2-day program about working collaboratively with school leaders to build student demand for Asian knowledge and skills. Register your interest.
National Statement on Asia Literacy
The National Statement on Asia Literacy in Australian Schools 2011-2012 identifies the broad knowledge, skills and understandings required by all students to achieve Asia literacy in line with the Asia priority of the Australian Curriculum.
