Voices and Visions CD-ROMs
These award-winning CD-ROMs contain extensive learning activities for students in senior English classes. Users can search by themes such as – identity, sport, courage, environment, gender roles, romance, youth culture – or they can search for materials that support a particular learning area. These special resources provide teachers with materials that would normally only be accessible to people of that country or culture, and makes them engaging and relevant to an Australian audience.
Distribution: These CD-ROMs were distributed to all Australian secondary schools between 2001 and 2004.
Civics and citizenship education focus: The CD-ROMs provide the opportunity for comparative studies, while exploring national and personal identities, conflicting cultural values, models of governance and socio-political changes.
