The following materials support the activities in the new Snapshots of Asia: India, Malaysia and the Philippines books and their teacher guides:
- Teacher resources - text and web resources for each country.
- Teacher activity sheets - printable Black Line Masters to be used in conjunction with the books or to support activities in the teacher guide.
- Student activity sheets - printable sheets that can be used for individual or group work by students.
Each of the new Snapshots of Asia: India, Malaysia and the Philippines books has an accompanying teacher guide specific to that book. The teacher guide contains ideas for developing literacy and numeracy skills using the book and cross-curricular classroom activities related to that particular country.
The original set of Snapshots books - China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Thailand and Vietnam - has an accompanying teacher guide that encompasses activities on a country by country basis while also using a topic-based approach across the countries. The new Snapshots books follow the same format as the original series, so the topic-based approach outlined in the original teacher guide can also be easily applied to the new books.
