Professional development
To facilitate and enhance use of Voices & Visions, the NALSAS Strategy commissioned the AEF to develop a professional development program with three components:
- Voices & Visions online tutorial
- Voices & Visions from Indonesia one-day train-the-trainer program delivered in eight States/Territories between August and October 2002
- adaptation of the one-day train-the-trainer program for Voices & Visions from Indonesia to encompass Voices & Visions from China, Japan and India.

While the professional development program has been designed to meet the needs of English teachers, it may also be relevant to teachers in other key learning areas, such as SOSE, Arts and LOTE.
