Workplace visits
Workplace visits bring to life the importance of, and growing need for intercultural capability and language skills in Australia today. These visits provide a unique opportunity for students to develop connections with organisations ranging from non-profit organisations and small businesses to major corporations to better understand how they work.
Workplace visits are aimed at secondary school students and can be offered in a range of flexible formats. Typically, a workplace visit will involve a group of up to 25 students for a visit of up to two hours comprising:
- an introduction to the organisation and its work;
- an opportunity for students to hear from and have discussions with selected staff;
- a tour of the facility (if applicable); and
- an activity/workshop based around the host organisation's Asia-related work (for longer visits and depending on host organisation availability).
Workplace visits are hosted by our Go Global Ambassadors, who are highly-skilled professionals with global careers operating in a broad range of sectors and industries.

Please note that we charge an administrative fee to arrange workplace visits. The fee will vary depending on the details of your request and we will be in touch to confirm amount upon receiving your completed request form (see 'Steps for organising a workplace visit' section to the right).
