These are interconnected and complex times, testing all of us in our resolve to stay informed and safe. Our shared intercultural learning and empathy with each other could not be more important.
As you may already be aware, all AEF face-to-face programs, both domestic and international, have been postponed.
In this constantly evolving situation, AEF will be taking guidance from Federal and State Governments, international Embassies and Ministries of Education across the Indo-Pacific, to ensure the necessary measures and timelines are available to facilitate alternative learning delivery methods for our students and teachers.
We have been deeply impressed with the understanding and resilience of our stakeholders and learners during this time; a period that could extend for the next few months.
We will keep you informed of all new arrangements and dates for our programs in 2020, and into 2021 via email , Facebook and Twitter .
Like others, we will also be utilising and developing digital solutions that have been part of our work for years - these digital connections will become more powerful over this next period.
We look forward to engaging with you and your school community via these new platforms to ensure that intercultural understanding and capability transcends borders and communities.
As routines change, and new measures come into play, we hope that your commitment to engaging locally and internationally as a measure of global citizenship continues.
We will be on the journey with you, fostering the intercultural insights and connections that have always rippled across Australia and linked us with our neighbours.
And do remember my team and I are available to answer any questions you may have, just simply email us on email@example.com.
