Jacyl's current position is working in the University of Melbourne's Global Engagement area as Strategic Adviser to the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Engagement) and as Strategic Adviser to the Director of the Australia India Institute. Jacyl completed part of her law degree at Chulalongkorn University Bangkok and part of her Arts degree at Sophia University, Tokyo, and for the past 15 years, she has worked on projects and partnerships in the Asian region. In 2002, Jacyl started an international education consultancy which oversees international student guardianship and other activities, enabling her to continue her interest and connection with the region.
