bio

Chris developed a lasting connection to Southeast Asia as a high school student at Jakarta International School from 1999–2001. He completed a combined B.Ec / B.Asian Studies (Indonesia Specialist) at the ANU from 2004-2009, spending two years at universities in Indonesia and the Philippines and on exchange in Singapore. Chris has worked as a Manager in the Commonwealth Bank’s Group Strategy unit and as a management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group. He continues to work as an independent strategy consultant while pursuing his entrepreneurial and culinary careers. In addition to Indonesian, Chris has mastered Filipino/Tagalog as is evident on his 'Maputing Cooking' internet TV show. Chris is available for virtual interactions from his base in Manila and is also available in Sydney from time to time.
