What is an AEF Twitter chat?

AEF Twitter chats provide teachers, school leaders and other educators the opportunity to tweet about the same topic to build and share Asia capability experiences. 

Use the #AEFchat hashtag that allows you to be followed on Twitter. The chats are at specific times and on specific topics as shown in the following schedule.  

To participate, use #AEFchat in any of your tweets.

  1. What are some of the benefits and opportunities a language programme can provide for students, staff and whole school?
  2. How can you ensure a language programme is sustainable?  What techniques have you used successfully in the past? 
  3. How does ICT support and extend your language programme? Can you recommend any specific apps or ICT platforms?
  4. Can intercultural understanding be developed through a languages programme? If so, in which ways?
  5. How can a school build demand from parents and the community for a language programme?
  6. In which ways can a school partnership support a language programme?
