Youth Programs

AEF’s youth programs engage students with Asia and the world, helping them develop the skills required to navigate and succeed in a globally connected and culturally diverse world. They also help students connect what they learn in class with future education and career pathways.

Working in partnership with business, industry, government and community organisations, our programs provide students with the opportunity to:

  • understand the importance of global competencies and Asia capabilities;
  • explore future pathways for their higher education and career;
  • deepen their understanding of local, regional and global issues and consider their role in taking action in the community; and
  • explore opportunities available to young Australians, including scholarships, involvement with youth organisations and government initiatives such as the New Colombo Plan.
  • Global Goals Primary Forum-2020
  • Global Goals Forum (Year 5-6)
  • A full-day design sprint for Years 5-6 students, designed to deepen their understanding of local and global issues and develop their global competence...more »
