bio

Dr Danial Kelly is a lawyer and educator who has been involved with Indonesia for over 20 years. He has worked and lived in a number of parts of Indonesia in various capacities. He teaches law and languages in Australia and Indonesia including at Gajah Mada University in Jogjakarta and Udayana University in Bali. Outside of his Indonesian interests Danial is involved in various ways in Australian Indigenous legal issues, especially in relation to Aboriginal customary law. Danial is married to Desak (who is originally from Bali) and they have four children.
