bio

Pinghui has several years experience as a consultant and researcher and was awarded a PhD from University of South Australia for his thesis on China’s food safety regulation. He is dedicated to promoting trade between Australia and Asia and has been interviewed on ABC Radio about the opportunities and challenges facing Australian agri-business. He is a Programme Associate for the United Nations Development Programme, nurturing South-South cooperation and China's role in this. He has previously worked for GIZ (German AID) as a consultant, mainly advising the management team of GIZ’s Sino-German Legal Cooperation Program. Pinghui won the 2011 South Australian Governor’s International Student Awards for Arts for his contribution to promoting art exchange between China and Australia.
