Australia–Malaysia BRIDGE School Partnerships Project
Established in 2015, the Australia-Malaysia BRIDGE School Partnerships Project partnered 11 Australian and 11 Malaysian schools. Twenty-two teachers participated in reciprocal, ten-day in-country professional learning programs. These professional learning programs provided opportunities for Australian and Malaysian teachers to establish strong relationships through building intercultural understanding, ICT capacity, schools visits and a homestay.
In 2016, the Australia-Malaysia BRIDGE School Partnerships Project will become part of the broader Australia-ASEAN BRIDGE School Partnerships Project. Each year, four Australia-Malaysia school partnerships will be established.
Interested in taking part? AEF annually offers opportunities to Australian schools to be part its BRIDGE School Partnerships Project. These are advertised in AEF e-News.
