Australia–Korea BRIDGE School Partnerships Project
Since 2010, the Australia–Korea BRIDGE School Partnerships Project has established 36 school partnerships involving 74 teachers.
Australian and Korean teachers participated in 20-days of joint professional learning in Australia and South Korea. Each 10-day professional learning program included a school visit and homestay, and workshops on building intercultural understanding, strengthening ICT capacity and developing school partnership plans.
The Australia–Korea BRIDGE School Partnerships Project supported Korean language learning and studies in Australian schools.
Global Conversations: Korea
In 2016, as part of BRIDGE, AEF was delighted to work in partnership with Sydney Opera House to support Global Conversations: Korea . The program saw schools in Australia and Korea partner up to participate together in a series of live, interactive digital learning experiences - increasing cross-cultural awareness and collaboration, and developing cultural literacy.
